In 1920 J. Louis Boucher crossed the border from his native Canada and took up the granite trade here in the United States. In 1939 he founded Manchester Memorial Company. At that time there were 15 other monument stores in the area. With a flair and style all his own, J. Louis quickly honed in on the element which would make his company stand out amongst all the others...customer service. There were no cheap, car salesman tricks. He earned trust everywhere by simply keeping his word. Through the years the other companies have disappeared, but the Boucher family still owns and operates Manchester Memorial Company, keeping their promises just the way great grandfather used to.
